Each entry names the body recorded as setting the dog rule, its authority type and the date its source was last checked. The date refers to the source check, not the date a rule came into force. Open the beach guide for the access rule and its details.

15 beaches have no council order or landowner statement naming them. These entries say “We are still working on this one” and are marked “Not yet established”. This does not mean dogs are welcome all year. Check the beach guide and local signs before visiting.

This list covers every beach in our database, including Devon and the neighbouring Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset coastline.
