Exmouth Beach stretches for nearly two miles of fine golden sand from the Exe estuary mouth to Orcombe Point, consistently earning Blue Flag status for its excellent water quality and facilities. Dogs enjoy excellent year-round access at both ends, from the third groyne eastward and from the Octagon Café westward, providing substantial exercise areas. Three large car parks provide ample parking, though these fill during peak periods. The mainline railway station is within ten minutes' walk, providing excellent public transport access.
