Hive Beach

Hive Beach is a stunning mixed sand and shingle beach on Dorset's Jurassic Coast, with a seasonal dog ban in summer and unspoiled natural beauty. This picturesque beach features soft sand areas ideal for dogs to run and play, plus fascinating rock pools and shingle sections for exploration. The beach is backed by dramatic cliffs and offers spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Dogs are welcome outside the summer ban, which runs from 1 June to 30 September, so it suits a peaceful, uncrowded walk in the quieter months.
